Thank you for 28k+ views, as well as all the watches and comments I have never replied to.

Star Trek was amazing. Terminator was.. okay. Transformers let me down here and there. HBP pleased me greatly just because it was HBP. If I was watching that as a non-book reader, I think I'd have been overly confused.

Oh, what cute animals you have here! Unfortunately, my rats hate the camera, and I only managed to take photos of them when they were still young. Now I cannot even bribe them with food ;)

Thank you, :] Suggestion, you could always try wearing them out with some good playtime first. Or! Sometimes I'll use a dab of something like vanilla or what have you on the ';prop' or area I want to photograph them on/in, so their initial attention is drawn to something in the exact spot I need them in!

True, they were based off guardian dog-demons that were half-tiger half-dog, but srsly, Arcanine... and Growlithe is described as the puppy pokemon...

I go by the Japanese names ( which only point to 'guard' and 'wind', not 'canine' or 'dog' ), but alright..

Origin
Growlithe is most likely based on Japanese 獅子 shishi, or 狛犬 koma-inu. They are mythical creatures that share traits with lions, tigers, and dogs.

Physiology
Arcanine is a canine-like Pokémon that resembles the mythical Ryukyuan Shisa (a cross between a lion and a dog).

Origin
Arcanine is based on the Ryukyuan シーサー shisa, or koma-inu. They are mythical creatures that take inspiration from lions, tigers, and dogs.

Pokedex
Shīsā ( シーサー ) (Okinawan: siisaa) (alternative spelling shishi or shisaa) is a traditional Ryukyuan decoration, often found in pairs, resembling a cross between a lion and a dog, from Okinawa mythology.

The shisaa, or lion dog, is an Okinawan cultural artifact.

Obviously, I am choosing the inspiration they gathered from lions and tigers over dogs. And I as well don't mean to be 'snotty' about it, however please understand that it is just a bit off-putting to have someone come to my dA only to comment in order to point out that me putting the two in a 'feline' marked box on GPX+ is 'wrong'. :/
